Membership
Being an active member of the Gaming Den grants you access to all the member game servers. That means all the games, one user account per game. Members must pay a yearly fee.
What is the member fee for??
Fees cover basic administration time and operating costs including:
- New hardware as needed
- Bandwidth fees
- Power for running servers and network equipment
- Power for cooling servers
- Domains and other network services
We provide a discount for members joining up as group because it reduces setup time and helps grow the community. Member fees go down after the first year which includes a setup fee. Fees also help maintain a community of interested players who we see as stakeholders in the community.
Current fees for joining, this includes a year of access:

| 2-4 People | $20 CAD / first year per person |
| 5+ People | $18 CAD / first year per person |
After your first year, the membership fee drops to $15 / per person per year.
Membership Policy
1. Be respectful
Treat everyone with fairness and respect. While lighthearted trash talk in game can be fun - Harassment, hate speech, and discrimination are not tolerated.
2. Follow server rules
Each game server may have its own specific rules posted in starting areas or welcome messages. Make sure to read and follow them.
3. Play fair
Even though game servers may not explicitly say so - any cheating, exploiting of bugs, or trying to operate around intended game design is prohibited.
4. Adult community
Membership is only granted to people 18 years of age and older. This helps keep the community a relaxed adult space where you can use profanity and adult themes [within reason] without the risk of putting it in front of a minor. Members cannot give, donate, borrow, lend, or share their Gaming Den server access with someone under 18 years of age.
5. Report issues
If you are having problems or see something of concern please contact administration.
A breach of the membership policy outlined here could result in losing active member status without a refund.
Refund Policy
Active members can get a refund of $1 CAD for each remaining month on their current membership.
